The TV UFG is a broadcaster of television educational and cultural concession of RTVE Foundation (Foundation Radio and Television Educational and Cultural) , an institution supporting the Federal University of Goiás in the area of broadcasting, communication, education and culture. TV UFG programming is broadcast on channel 15.1 on an open signal, on channel 21 of NET for Goiânia and the Metropolitan Region and over the internet on its website www.tvufg.org.br. Inaugurated on September 14, 2009, TV UFG has been part of the Public Television Network since then, retransmitting part of the programming of TV Brasil, its main partner.
