BFM Paris is a regional television channel dealing with current events in the Île-de-France region. It was launched on November 7, 2016 at 7 p.m. The channel is part of the NextRadioTV group.
It is presented as “the biggest chain of local news in France” and is equipped with thirty-seven journalists, a helicopter, scooters and twenty smartphones which replace the usual cameras.
The channel's annual budget is millions of euros but should quickly drop to 10 million euros, according to Alain Weill, managing director of SFR Média.
