Korean Central Television (in Korean, 조선 중앙 텔레비죤 or Chosŏn Chung'ang T'ellebijyon) is one of the three national television channels broadcasting in North Korea.
Emanation from the Ministry of Propaganda and Information, this generalist channel pays particular attention to the cult of the personality of the various North Korean leaders.
All shows are only broadcast in Korean.
Since 1999, North Korean television has also been broadcasting by satellite to Asia via the Thaicom5 satellite (fr).
Since January 15, 2015, the channel has been broadcasting in high definition and digital on the Thaicom 51 satellite.
